Keyboard Layouts

The keyboard key layouts still in use today were created for typewriters. There has been analysis and suggestions on improved keyboard key layouts for more efficient or less tiring typing.

Windows - / General

  • locate32 (Win-only) – ultra fast, so much smaller index-db than windows search index
  • Autoruns - MS Sysinternals Tool to allow changing autostart-settings – much more than msconfig
  • ext2fsd - ext2(/3) widows file system driver

Recovery

  • Recuva (Windows) – Recover lost/deleted files from the hard drive.
