Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion Review
Not Recommended
I find it very linear, limiting, debilitating. I was hoping for a more free action adventure.
+ Themed
+ Sung songs
* Round based combat
* Piped level design
- Bad radial menu - too narrow activation area
- Invisible walls (blocked where you visually could jump over)
- Bad progression (I'm confused whether I missed something; suddenly even after level ups I lose fights)
- Multi-character controls (acceptable I guess, but doesn't feel or handle good)
Maybe this is common for round based combat / JRPG style games, but I didn't like the need for potions and manual healing in and between fights, having to buy and use them.
