Cat Quest Review
Recommended
A simple yet charming action level and item farming game.
Combat is simple, but has some variation in magic spells. Those that you see on enemies you are able to unlock later, supporting the world consistency.
Story wise not very deep, unique or surprising, but it does provide some variance and a path to follow and explore.
+ Charming graphics
+ Nice and well executed setting
+ Basic but fun combat
+ Regular level ups and progression
* Somewhat mediocre/standard/expected characters and interactions
- Quests provide some little variance but come down to following arrows and killing monsters
- Somewhat open and being able to get lost between over-leveled too hard quests and enemies, and backtracking on the big (world) map for trying to find matching and still open quests and monsters.
Worthwhile for simple and not too long play sessions.
A decent 7/10.
