Wow. Definitely try this out.
The sense of scale and awe you can get here is great.
The introduction gives the first awe when you zoom out of earth. Astronauts have gotten a different view on earth, and you can get a bit of that here.
Going from Mount Fuji with its huge scale, crater, and view over Japan to the size of man-made Tokyo is surreal, astonishing and awesome. Moving in between the skyscapers of Hong Kong with huge buildings all around, man made structure all around. You can explore the vast natural langscapes and forests. Move to the middle east and its barren lands, and discover the sudden change in the all green Nile Delta. You can go to your home town and living place, look around, and zoom out, getting a sense of your surrounding area and scale of earth itself.
A magical experience, and definitely something I will show to others visiting my Vive.
