The Beginner's Guide Review

I will recommend this game not for being a good "game", but as a great emotional piece of art.

There is no "gameplay" to speak of. Rather, it is a psychology and empathy heavy narration through various environments with recurring elements. It is a walking simulator that allows you to experience a story, which may make you think yourself.

It is a great philosophical piece of art, that definitely requires empathy and interest by the player. This is not an arcade or gameplay game.

I did expect something different, and found it to be too slow at the start. But over time I was able to enjoy the thought provokation.

For what I pointed it out to be, I can definitely recommend it. If you are not empathetic or thoughtful, this is not for you.
