Cute, beautiful, surprising and varying game.
Very enjoyable until you get into the night levels. Black background, black player character, black obstacles. Very frustrating and annoying.
Badland is a "flying platformer", side scrolling game in a great environment and with great content. It is not always intuitive and clear about what to do, so you will have to go to the last checkpoint and try agian, until you figure it out, or get lucky. Checkpoints are fair. After a fair amount of unsuccessful tries, you can skip to the next checkpoint.
Once you beat the game, player-made levels provide you with endless content.
I enjoyed it very much until it got dark on dark.
