Exceptional series following the lives of Tanuki disguised as humans.

A lot of Japanese folklore references of Tanuki and Tengu.

Season two mostly follows the formula, turning the absurdity/fantasy up quite a bit (still following Japanese folklore I assume). Rather than great like the first season, I found it only good or decent.
