Plugo starts out great. An interesting sci-fi piece with depth. But over the series it becomes frustratingly shallow and bad.

The progression to the bad is through sci-fi becoming magic and phantastical ideas, the repeated flashbacks not only into the past but what you have already seen (fourth time, and even muting what you see being spoken), and overall what feels like shallow “make it work” direction instead of inspired, interesting, or consistent direction.

It becomes noticeable in the middle, but unevadeable in the later episodes. More than anything I feel frustrated and wasted after it start out so well, and I was very invested and interested. But it turned into a mediocre, bad setting and conclusion. Really unfortunate.
