Now and Then, Here and There
Rating: 9
Great series. Great story, setting, and execution. Contrasting the somewhat idealistic protagonist with the world - the realities of war, a setting of abuse and manipulation, and absolute rule. Rough topics and themes handled in a very good manner.
It’s from 2000, so quite aged. I watched in 480p. But outside of that the quality was good, and still serves the series well enough.
Mid-series I was planning to give it a very good 8/10. But it never lost it’s great quality and execution, but put more on top. The overall downside is the dated visuals. But otherwise it’s great and meaningful, so I’m giving it a great 9/10.
