The Coolermaster “Contact Us” form is broken.

“we’re here to listen, but the form has multiple issues which ultimately prevent you from even contacting them.

No alternative. No email address.

  1. Selecting the country from a dropdown list is required, but it’s not a standard control, breaking standard accessibility controls like typing a letter to jump to countries beginning with that letter
  2. There is no indication that marking the privacy policy check is required for submitting the form
  3. No reCAPTCHA is visible but when submitted the form submission fails with “reCAPTCHA verification failed!”

For the monitor firmware, they provide a video that walks you through and shows the firmware upgrade. Which is nice.

But that video is 290 MB. I reencoded it and now it’s 28 MB. Crazy opportunity to make it more accessible, especially on low or mobile connections.


They offer firmware files [for my monitor] on a shared cloud storage with folders. One version has release notes and guidance.

A newer version has no information whatsoever, only the binary firmware file. I have no idea what the newer firmware version is supposed to be or changes. I have no idea what gains or risks it may have, or what the intention of their publishing it even is.
