Holy moly, ich hab endlich meine Antwort!

Hat nur 4 Anläufe, bei denen ich dreimal dann einfach ignoriert wurde, gebraucht. Der erste Versuch war schon Juli 2010 …

Die Lösung war wohl: Wenn die eine Person des PowerColor Supports zu viel zu lesen hat, dann beantwortet er keine konkreten Fragen mehr, und ignoriert einen nach der ersten oder zweiten Antwort.

Jetzt hatte ich versucht nur und ausschließlich die konkrete Frage gestellt:

what is the real and concrete power usage of the PCS+ HD5870 on pre-boot and bootup?

Und es hat doch tatsächlich funktioniert!

This would be depending on your PC hardware equipment.
As for HD5870, the bootup requires at least 190W for it. And it will go lower to 90W, then if you are in full loading, it requires around 200W for this card.

Trotzdem bleibt mein Fazit: Super schlechter Support. Auf vieles wurde nicht eingegangen, ich landete immer beim selben Typen, und, das schlimmste, ich wurde einfach ignoriert.
