Bioshock, when released, had SecuRom customer-penetration customer prevention “copy protection” with a limited activation limit.
Finaly, with the Steam Stores weekend deal where it’s only 5 € / 5 $ (where 5$ is 3,60 € atm. …) I noticed (or rather, I read in the forums ; I now regularly check the steam forums when I’m rather interested in a game. Many ppl. asking for or giving information, or providing first impressions.) that Bioshock no longer has SecuRom included in its Steam version. Thus, neither has it activation limits any more.
Good choice, Mr publisher, but years to late.
And it probably will take just as long for Bioshock 2 … right?
