Golden Kamuy

I finished watching Golden Kamuy (2018, 2020) earlier this week

The first two seasons were really good, I didn’t like the third one as much unfortunately.

A great mix of travel and discovery, action, and showing a specific type of minority subcultures of historic Japan, in the context of having fought a war with Russia.

Great stories of the characters, and growing, and many funny scenes put in between - which did not feel as disruptive or unfitting to the setting as I would have expected for what they are.

I rated seasons one and two with 9/10, season three only got 7/10.
